The eminent Finnish composer and conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen has been the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Music Director since 1992. Under his dynamic leadership it is recognized as one of the world's most outstanding orchestras, and the exciting musical partnership Salonen has established with his musicians has been widely acclaimed in the international press.
